Donation Terms & Conditions

1. Donor identity and purpose

The Global Human Impact Foundation is a non-profit humanitarian organisation registered under Beninese law. Global Human Impact Foundation collects donations exclusively for humanitarian, educational, health and sustainable development purposes.

Any person wishing to donate must be of legal age (18+) or authorised by a legal guardian, and must have the capacity to make a financial transaction.

Donations are voluntary, irrevocable (except in cases of proven fraud), and non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

2. Accepted payment methods

Global Human Impact Foundation accepts the following payment methods: bank card or mobile money via FedaPay (XOF – CFA franc), PayPal (multi-currency), and cash donations made directly to an authorised representative.

Online payments are processed by our certified payment partners (FedaPay and PayPal). Global Human Impact Foundation does not store your full bank card details.

3. Use of donations

At least 60% of the funds collected are allocated directly to field programs (humanitarian aid, education, health, food security).

The remaining portion covers operational and administrative costs necessary for the functioning of the organisation.

Global Human Impact Foundation publishes an annual impact report detailing the use of funds, available on the website.

4. Anti-fraud and anti-money laundering (AML)

Global Human Impact Foundation is committed to preventing fraud, money laundering and terrorism financing in accordance with applicable international and national standards.

Donations equal to or exceeding USD 10,000 (or equivalent) per transaction are subject to enhanced review and may require justification of origin of funds in accordance with FATF recommendations.

Global Human Impact Foundation reserves the right to refuse or cancel any donation that raises a reasonable suspicion of fraud, money laundering, or illegal activity. In such cases, the funds will be returned to the sender.

Any automated, artificial or fraudulent submission will be rejected. Our systems detect and block bot activity, duplicate submissions, and suspicious patterns.

Attempted fraud will be reported to the competent authorities.

5. Personal data

The personal data collected (name, email, amount, IP address anonymised in accordance with GDPR) are processed solely for the management of your donation, tax receipt issuance, and legal compliance.

Your data will never be sold to third parties. You may exercise your rights (access, rectification, deletion) by contacting dons@ghimpactfoundation.org.

6. Tax receipt

A tax receipt may be issued upon request for donations eligible under your local legislation. To obtain a receipt, please contact dons@ghimpactfoundation.org with your donation reference.

Global Human Impact Foundation cannot guarantee the tax deductibility of donations in all jurisdictions. Please consult a tax advisor regarding your specific situation.

7. Recurring donations

Donors who choose a recurring donation authorise Global Human Impact Foundation to collect the indicated amount at the specified frequency (monthly, annually).

You may cancel your recurring donation at any time by contacting dons@ghimpactfoundation.org at least 5 business days before the next scheduled payment.

8. Limitation of liability

Global Human Impact Foundation shall not be held liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the donation platform, including technical failures caused by third-party payment providers.

In the event of a payment failure attributable to the payment provider, Global Human Impact Foundation will assist the donor in completing their donation.

9. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Beninese law. Any dispute arising from a donation shall first be submitted to Global Human Impact Foundation for amicable resolution.

In the absence of an amicable agreement, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Cotonou, Benin.

10. Amendment of terms

Global Human Impact Foundation may update these terms at any time. The version in force at the time of donation shall apply. The current version date appears at the top of this page.

Material changes will be notified on the Global Human Impact Foundation website at least 15 days before they take effect.
